Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Olympiad Arena is a STEM olympiad preparation platform operated from Bangladesh. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Olympiad Arena; “you” means the person using the service. You can reach us at contact@olympiadarena.com.

2. Who may use it

You need to be at least 13years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission, and they should read these terms with you. We build for school-age students and we expect many of our users to be minors; that is a reason for us to be careful, not a reason to pretend otherwise.

You are responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else is using it, change your password and tell us. You can see and end your active sessions in Settings.

3. What the service includes

Some of Olympiad Arena is free, and stays free:

• Creating an account, and keeping your XP, streak, level and history
• Practice — unlimited problems, with a daily allowance of hints and worked solutions
• Contests, including scoring and standings
• Leaderboards, when they are switched on

A subscription adds:

• Full lesson content and learning paths
• Unlimited hints and solutions, instead of the daily allowance

We may change what sits on each side of that line as the platform develops. If a change takes away something you are currently paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect and you may cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part of your term.

4. Payment

Subscriptions are paid through bKash. You send the payment yourself and then submit your bKash number and transaction ID through the site. We never see or store your bKash PIN, and we do not take card details. What we keep is the sending number, the transaction ID, the amount and the plan — the minimum needed to match your payment and to answer you if it goes wrong.

Payments are confirmed by a person, not automatically. That normally takes a few hours and can take up to a day. You will get an emailed receipt when you submit, and a second email when your subscription is activated. Your access begins when we confirm the payment, not when you send it.

Prices are shown in Bangladeshi Taka and include any tax we are required to charge. A subscription does not renew automatically — nothing is ever charged to you without you deciding to pay again. Paying while you still have time left adds to your existing end date rather than replacing it.

If we cannot match your payment

We will email you saying so, with the reason. If you believe we are wrong, reply with your transaction ID and we will look again. A transaction ID can only be claimed once, on one account.

Refunds

If you paid by mistake, paid twice, or never received the access you paid for, write to us within 14 days and we will refund you. Beyond that, refunds are at our discretion — but we would rather refund someone who is unhappy than keep money from someone who is not using the service. We do not refund time you have already used.

5. Free access, referrals and partner codes

You may receive free subscription time by signing up through a friend's referral link, by using a code from one of our partners, or because we gave it to you. Free time is a gift rather than a purchase: it carries no refund value, and we may cap or withdraw it if it is being abused — for example by creating accounts solely to farm referral rewards. We will not withdraw time from someone using the service in good faith.

6. Content, and what you may do with it

The lessons, problems, solutions and explanations on Olympiad Arena are ours or licensed to us. You may use them to study. You may not republish them, sell them, or feed them into another product — including scraping the question bank, whether by hand or by script. We rate-limit and monitor for this, and we will suspend accounts that do it.

Some material is drawn from past olympiad papers, which are the work of their respective committees. We credit them where we can. If you hold rights in something published here and want it removed or attributed differently, write to contact@olympiadarena.com and we will act promptly.

Anything you write on the platform stays yours. By posting it you let us store and display it as part of running the service.

7. Fair use

Please do not:

• Share an account, or sell access to one
• Cheat in a contest, or help someone else cheat
• Automate your use of the service, or try to get around our rate limits
• Attempt to reach data that is not yours, or interfere with the service for others
• Create accounts to manufacture referral rewards

If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account. Where the breach is minor we will warn you first. Where it is not — cheating in a contest, or attacking the platform — we may act immediately. A closed account keeps no refund entitlement, except where we closed it in error.

8. Contests

Contest results, ratings and rankings are ours to compute and, where necessary, to correct. If we find a wrong answer key or a scoring fault we will regrade, and that may change a published result. We will say so when we do.

9. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent: it removes your profile, answers, progress, XP, contest results and payment history. It does not automatically refund an unused subscription — ask us first if you want one.

We may close an account that breaks these terms, or stop offering the service entirely. If we shut down the service while you have paid time remaining, we will refund the unused part.

10. What we do not promise

We work hard to keep the platform accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions, and we do not guarantee any particular result in any examination or olympiad. Studying here is not a substitute for your own work.

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can stop using the service and ask for a refund of unused paid time.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
